I
have been married to Marcia (pictured on the right above)
for 45 years. Marcia just retired as Town Clerk of Walworth
after 28 years of service. We have 3 children, Sue - an
accountant and sales rep with a packaging firm in MA, married
to a phys. ed teacher; Patricia - a Professor at the University
of Vermont, married to the Webmaster of the Medical
Dept. at UVM; and Joe - a software programmer for Bruegger's
Bagels, who also lives in Burlington, VT. No grandchildren
yet, but we're still hoping!
We have had our own business since 1968, starting
out with a small welding and fabricating shop. We have expanded
to the excavating business and have owned South Shore RV Park
in Sodus Point for the last 7 years. I am still only
working half days - 12 hours a day. I found the 32
Ford that I built while in high school. I had sold
it when I was 17 years old and bought it back 34 years later,
pretty much in the same condition as when I had built it.
It even had the same re-capped tires that were on it when
I sold it. Marcia and I are having fun driving it
to local cruise nights and we have taken it to York, PA
, Columbus, OH , Louisville, KY and Burlington, VT for national
street rod shows. It has also been in several well
known magazines, and on the cover of one. We own an RV,
which we hope to travel the country in within the next couple
years. We'd like to extend an invitation to any classmates
with RVs to stay at South Shore, with our compliments.
Thanks again to you and Al for all your efforts.
I certainly enjoyed the June mini-reunion!
Joe
