Biography

How does one put a span of 50 years into a simple paragraph?

After graduation I worked briefly for the former RG&E and then married and moved to North Carolina. Many years later and many, many moves around the country, we settled here in Erie, PA and the marriage ended.

From that time on I was employed at First Choice Community Federal Credit Union as a supervisor and now at Erie Insurance Group as an Information Technology Financial Administrator.

I’m not one of the financially elite, I don’t own multiple homes or cars, or vacation all over the world. My greatest accomplishment is my 3 sons. Michael is the oldest and he and his wife, Ann has 2 sons, Justin and Kyle and his wife, Heather who are soon to be parents making me a great—grandmother. I can’t wait!!! Joel is next and he and his wife, Jenna has 2 girls, Heather and Nicole, and 1 son, Andrew. Casey is the youngest and he and his wife has 3 sons, Caleb, Josh, and Noah. We have an age span here between 25 (Justin) and 2 (Noah) so you can imagine what fun we have when we all get together. Since Mike lives the farthest always it doesn’t happen often enough for me.

At the age of 52, I went back to school and attended Edinboro University loving every minute of it.

Currently, my Mom lives with me and since she will be 90 this year, the roles have reversed and now I am the ‘mom’.

There you have it….. my life in a nutshell! Like everyone else, it has had its ups and downs but I feel blessed!
